My friend (girl pictured) is such a good sport ^_^ Taken in Kyoto, April 2009.
I forget which (it was near Golden Week) holiday the colorful items in the background were decoration for, but it made the rather somber shrine quite festive looking-despite the rain that day.
Adidas, rock on maiko style.

I like it. But maybe it would have been better if it she were off center, and in a different pose.

I agree a different pose would have been nice (the beauty of hindsight!) didn't think about changing her to being off center-that seems like an interesting idea ^_^
